About us
K&A is a law firm based in Prague, made of a team of mostly young people with experience ranging up to fifteen years of legal practice. Even though the Firm was established at the beginning of 2007, most of its lawyers have acquired enough experience both in international or local law firms and within corporations, where they gained necessary experience in the law related to business and production operations both in the Czech Republic and within an international environment.

Mgr. Jiří Kučera
He has been practicing in the field of business law since 1998, when he joined AK Kocián, Šolc, Balaštík, Law Firm. Following a pause in advocacy, working on post of Head of Legal and EMEA Legal Counsel for company Foxconn, he joined the Bar in 2005.
Mgr. Jiří Kučera has been focusing mainly on commercial law, real estate law, public procurement law, corporate law, protection of personal rights and litigation.
Mgr. Jiří Kučera provides services in English, Czech and Slovak language, he has a passive command of Russian.
Mgr. Zdeněk Smrček
He started in the field of advocacy in 2008 when he joined K&A as a student of faculty of law on a position of paralegal. After his graduation at the Faculty of law of Charles University in Prague he joined the ranks of junior legal associates of K&A and after passing the Bar exams became an associate attorney-at-law of K&A.
Mgr. Zdeněk Smrček specializes mainly on public tenders, law of associations, civil law and commercial law.
Mgr. Zdeněk Smrček provides legal services in Czech and English language.
Mgr. Karel Machačka
He commenced his career in the field of advocacy in 2012 when he joined K&A as a junior legal associate. He became an attorney-at-law in 2017. He started his professional career in K&A and he is a part of K&A to this day as a associate attorney-at-law.
Mgr. Karel Machačka specializes mainly on civil procedure and litigation, civil, commercial and criminal law.
Mgr. Karel Machačka provides legal services in Czech and English language.
